Tops and facades

Have you ever look to the top of the buildings in your city?
This is a brief story of tops and facades at the historic centers of portuguese cities, as I see it.
I like to see recovered buildings, vessels with flowers at the balconies, colors and young people occupying this places.
But that doesn't happen all the time. Some buildings start to fade away, getting older as the people living there.
The real estate tries to sell this buildings and the hope of being rehabilitated somehow stays.
But when nothing happens the buildings age waiting for interventions. Many fall and few arise with a new look. The overall panorama reveals missing parts in the picture(s).
This is not art, this is desertion.
